Never watch anything on TV, it is always written for the lowest common denominator. As car guys, we just want to know too much. . . most people don't :(

Many moons ago there was a commenting system where you could only get your comments pre-approved if you had a "star", or a recommendation from an author. I haven't been here long enough, but I think it's a continuation of that idea, like a "senior member" thing.
I could be wrong though.

That's right. The day they rolled out the first version of Kinja, the stars went away. Some of us added them to our avatar shortly after the change.

The worst is all the parts where they make it sound like "and there's only 10 days to go before the car has to leave the factory, how will they manage to finish the gearbox in tiiiiiiiime ?????" Yeah dude, it's the VW group I'm sure they'll figure it out.

The worst one was the recent Porsche episode, where the guy said "Porsh" about 50 times...
Also, he says "mono-coke".
